Additionally, the organisation has been recognised by the UN of Geneva, UNHCR, UNEP, UNIC India and Bhutan and the Assam CM office.

About Us
Square One International (SOI) is a youth-led international organization founded to empower students and young professionals through diplomacy, education, and leadership development. Rooted in the values of inclusivity and dialogue, SOI provides platforms for youth to engage with global issues, build critical skills, and translate debate into action. Beyond its conferences, the organization undertakes philanthropic initiatives, training programs, and internships to create real-world impact that extends beyond policy discussions.The flagship event of SOI, the Square One International Model United Nations (SOIMUN), has emerged as one of the most recognized youth conferences in the region. Since its inception in 2023, SOIMUN has engaged hundreds of delegates and has been accredited and supported by the United Nations Information Centre (UNIC) India and Bhutan, the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UNDGC) New York, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). It has further worked with the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) in Geneva, the International Law Club of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Malaysia, and has received acknowledgments from leading policymakers including the Education Minister of Assam and the Leader of Opposition, Assam Legislative Assembly.Through these global linkages and institutional recognitions, SOI has built a strong reputation for authenticity and professionalism in youth engagement. Having trained more than 1000 students, hosted two flagship editions of SOIMUN, collaborated with MLAs, and built an active network of schools and universities, the organization stands as a testament to youth-driven impact. With a growing presence in India and abroad, Square One International continues to nurture globally minded leaders capable of shaping conversations that matter.
